How it Works

Conducting research for this coffee project
involves a thorough exploration of both user
needs and product design. By comparing
different coffee machines and understanding key
factors such as brewing speed, ease of use, and
durability, we gain valuable insights that guide
the design direction. The teardown of existing

coffee sets and presses provides a closer look
at the materials, construction, and functionality,
helping identify areas for improvement. Exploded
views further enhance our understanding of how
each component fits together, allowing us to
pinpoint potential design weaknesses. Ultimately,
this research process—through firsthand use,
detailed analysis, and visual breakdowns—
helps inform a more intuitive, sustainable, and

functional new design.
