Here are some ideas I got from my further research following up from the inspira-
tions captured by the design works of my design icon Phillippe Starck. His approach
to style is always interesting, playful and light-hearted but he can also be rather
subversive and provocative. He uses bright colours which is why I took at look at the
range of colours abstracted from citrus fruit. I also looked into aspects of design that
incorporated citrusy effects, and looked into organic forms, rounded shape as well
as dome shapes to in uence my ideas for the design of my sound system.
I took a look at the Royal Albert hall in London as I felt I could translate its dome shape into my
sketching, particularly from the view of the inside where the roof was made out of acoustic
mushrooms (rounded shapes) that could change in colour. Again, this was signi cantly unusual
just like Phillippe Starcks work
