Brochure Designs

The idea for the brochure designs consists of a serious of brochures, each one aimed at
informing individuals on the different areas surrounding pet adoption and pet care. The series
of brochures include pet adoption, pet fostering, pet training, and overall pet care. The idea
is that these informative brochures would be displayed at animal rescue organisations and

veterinary waiting rooms for users to read or take home prior to, or during, pet adoption
processes and veterinary visits. For this project, the design of a pet training brochure will be
included in the final design. Its contents will include the benefits of pet ownership and owner
responsibilities, information on rescue pets and common behaviour issues, the importance
of training and positive reinforcement techniques, emergency contacts (veterinarians
and the council’s animal control), and further recommendations of pet-related resources.
Finally, the brochure will include a call-to-action message with a QR code which will allow users
to scan the QR code to bring them to the app store and download the pet training app. User
can then begin a tailored training journey with their new pet at home in their own time for free.
