Production Journey

From Customisation to Delivery

The process have 3 main stages, customisation
by customer, stocking pre cuts and the production

of the cardholder.

Although the journey seems straight-forward, the

main challenges is getting the order correct and
follow up throughout the process. The proposed

method include a detailed tag that have the
customer order from shapes to colors to name
engraving, the tag will later stick onto individual

boxes where the ordered precut will be placed in,
although its quite tedious, it will prevent orders

get mixed up.

Furthermore, a contraption is needed to cut

the precut for the shortest front layer of the
cardholder, if to keep precut numbers low, this

contraption can either cut the top part which is
irregular but able save the edges fillet or cut the
bottom side with just a straight cut but remove

the edge fillets. worst comes to worst it goes
back to the laser cutting machine aligned by a jig.
