Functioning
This duck feeder will prevent food
scattering when ducks feed. Food
leftovers are a waste of resources, and
may also cause rot and mould growths.
Viability
Big duck farms, such as Silver Hill, can
produce over 80,000 ducks per week.
With those numbers, ans based on the
animal requirements and the current
market, duck feed could cost them over
300,000€ weekly.
Taking into account that around 30% of
duck feed is wasted because of Food refill
scattering, reducing that number to zero Two vertical tubes on the top face
could easily save them over 100,000€ allow an easy refill. They can be
every week.
completely filled if desired. The
position of the holes in relation to
the bottom of the feeder will stop
the food from overflowing.
