Design Brief
Task
Redesign the Remington curl and straight con dence curler and straightener in the style of
Philippe Starck. The product should celebreate the style of Starck while also considering the
manufacturing and inhouse technologies of Remington. This product should be an evolution of
the existing products in this range taking inspiration form the design icon Philippe Starck to
make the porduct unique and innovative.
Objectives
Create a product using Starks unique style
understand the internal workings of the product
Impliment all design skills and learnings
Design product for manufacture
Create 3D digital model and technical speci cations
Create sketch iterations detailing materials colours and product speci cations
Create model interations detailing ergonomics and size
