3         Breif
  I was required to design a philips electrically powered personal grooming device in the st
   icon. My manufacturer wishes to introduce a personal grooming device inspired by the desi
        and processes associated with your design icon.
   First and foremost, my product design had to communicate the style and ethos of my design
        generation, material selection, textures and finishes.
   Secondly, my product design had to consider the corporate identity, existing in-house tec
   manufacturing capabilities of my manufacturer. Innovative materials and technologies had
   for the design and construction of the product but only if their introduction or applicat
         the work or philosophy of my design icon.
          The breif is achieved in four stages:
           Phase 1 - Form Planning
        • Key design principles associated with the design icon.
          • Prepare form generation statement
         • Prepare appropriate communication boards.
          Phase 2 - Concept Sketching
        • Prepare 3 creative concepts of the electric razor.
        • Prepare accompanying 3D models (sketch and digital).
         • Select concept for further refinement.
         Phase 3 - Design Development Presentation
        • Prepare detailed technical communication boards
           • Photorealistic renderings
          Phase 4 - Final MDP Submission
          • Detail and develop design proposal
