COLOUR:

The Drum is made of stainless steel, the stainless steel sheet

is shaped by rolling it, it is then clamped into place as the

machine welds the sheet together to create the barrel shape.

Stainless steel is used as it is resistant to corrosion, it is

easily formed into shapes and good mechanical properties

over a wide range of temperatures. MATERIAL:

The Panels on the sides of the machine are formed by

pressing the sheets of zinc coated steel into moulds where

then then take shape.

Zinc coated steel is used on the outer shell of the machine as

the zinc provides protection of the steel against corrosion GLASS STEEL ABS

The Basket of the machine will be manufactured by injection

moulding. this process will involve the male and female part FINISH:

coming together to form the shape and the polypropylene

material will be injected into the chamber to form the final

basket shape.

Polypropylene will be used as it has good chemical

resistance and heat resistance. it also works great in wet

environments as it does not take in water as much as

other polymers do.
