After ten years in the beauty business, Deborah had definite priorities for her upscale one-stop shop. The right location was essential, free parking non-negotiable, but, most importantly,
Verve was going to be first-class. “A new business has to stand out as number one. I travelled to famous spas and immersed myself in their different designs and decor
influences. I extensively researched the best quality products. Staying leading-edge is the key to success.”
Deborah’s astute efforts paid off. A premier destination, Verve more than doubled in staff in five years, and, now, it has more than tripled in space. Clients
constantly enthuse over its well-appointed beauty, often inquiring who did the interior design. All a tribute to Deborah’s creative influence as a hands-on
owner, educator, talented makeup artist, and esthetician making a positive difference in the community and her clients’ lives.
Those who dismiss the beauty business could never imagine the poignant triumph of a disfigured abuse victim now able to wear a sleeveless party dress after Deborah’s laser skin rejuvenation successfully diminished her scars or the rewarding experience restoring a sense of femininity to a cancer survivor using her permanent makeup skills to create realistic nipples for the woman’s
breasts. Experiences like this are the highlight of Deborah’s career. “I’ve worked hard, learned from my mistakes. Now, I want to share my wisdom
and expertise as I continue to learn and grow myself. Success is bringing fulfillment to others doing what you enjoy.”
