This Thanksgiving, the EGO Chapter of Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in collaboration with
Girls, Inc. and members of the Alabama A&M
University Undergraduate Chapter, came togeth-
er to spread love and support to AAMU students
who couldn’t travel home for the holidays.

The girls of Girls, Inc. shared their creativity by making heartfelt notes and colorful pictures, while EGO
members shopped for thoughtful items from the students’ wish lists. With the help of our undergraduate
sorors, the care packages were thoughtfully completed and delivered, bringing comfort and joy to each re-
cipient.

This initiative was about more than addressing food insecurity—it was about showing these students they
are part of a community that values and uplifts them. It’s a reminder that when we come together in ser-
vice, even the smallest acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact.
