EGO Continues to Protect Our Environment through Recycling

On December 7, 2024, Epsilon Gamma Omega (EGO) members participated in two recycle activities.
EGO’s Enhance Our Environment Initiative collaborated with EGO’s Membership Committee to host an
AKA Paraphernalia Recycle event. EGO members generously donated over one hundred and fifty gently
used or new paraphernalia items. These items included apparel, jewelry, tote bags, conference bags, and
other accessories that were gifted to the members of the Gamma Mu and Omicron Zeta Chapters. This
event was open prior to and after the Joint Chapter meeting with EGO, Gamma Mu and Omicron Zeta
Chapters. A special thank you to ALL Sorors who volunteered and contributed to the success of this ac-
tivity, highlighting waste reduction. In addition, EGO members participated in another recycle opportuni-
ty by donating over five hundred empty plastic medicine bottles to the Greater Huntsville Humane Socie-
ty. This donation will support their efforts, while protecting our environment through recycling.
