A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in honor of the placing of the historical
marker at Alabama A&M University for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated Founder, Soror Harriett J. Terry. Soror Terry was a charter
member of Epsilon Gamma Omega and a longtime instructor at Alabama A&M
University.
