“BLING BADGE”, SORORITY BADGE, AND
SORORITY PIN ETIQUETTE

•In the United States, proper etiquette states the name

tag should be worn above the pocket on the right side of
your shirt, blouse, or blazer. The placement of the name

“Bling Badge” should follow suit.
•The (Alpha Kappa Alpha) Badge is worn on the outer garment of
clothing nearest the body. For example, if a blouse is worn under a

blazer, the badge is attached to the blouse.
•The Life Membership pin (and all other Alpha Kappa Alpha pins) may

be worn at the Soror’s discretion but must not interfere with the
placement of the Sorority Badge.
