CAREGIVERS’ COLLEGE EVENTS

Target 2 to volunteered during two Caregivers College Events. At the first event, Soror Lydia Weeks,
presented Soror Cheryl R. Davis with a Certificate of Recognition for EGO's participation in the 5th
Annual Caregivers Event. EGO was listed in the program as a Community Partner as well as a
Volunteer organization. A special thanks to Soror Wilma Ruffin for providing us the information for
an opportunity to participate in this event. The day belonged to Soror Shelia Crutcher, Lead for Care
for the Caregivers Committee, as she planned, coordinated, and executed a successful plan to get
Sorors to volunteer. A special thanks to her two sons who worked the day before setting up for the
event as well as the day of the event. These young men helped with passing out breakfast and snacks.
Sorors Cheryl and Rhonda Thompson continue to lead by example by working as volunteers for this
event! Soror Lydia donated the snacks that were left to EGO. We now have snacks for the next
quarterly submission for the Huntsville Heart Institute and The Huntsville Hospital Foundation. We
were blessed with this contribution so now we can bless others. At the second event, members of
Epsilon Gamma Omega expanded their knowledge of caregiving by attending the 5th Annual
Caregiver College sponsored by TARCOG at Willowbrook Baptist Church, Madison. EGO also served
as a sponsor and partner with twenty-five volunteers for the event.
