Protocol is defined as the customs and regulations dealing with
diplomatic formality, precedence, and etiquette. Synonyms include
procedure, ritual, and decorum.
Adherence to protocol in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated
• Enhances the Sorority’s operations
• Creates a more Sisterly environment
• Enhances the Sorority’s image in the larger community when
members demonstrate a command of protocol
