SOROR TALKS

At the April 11th joint meeting with sorors from Omicron Zeta, Gamma
Mu and Epsilon Gamma Omega, the Membership Committee introduced

"Soror Talks". This forum shares information to the membership, graduate
and undergraduate, and is beneficial for our emotional, social, and personal
well-being. The talks are delivered by experts in their respective fields of
interest. They are delivered in the format of Ted Talks.

In keeping with the international Sisterly Relations monthly theme,
the Membership Committee, the inaugural topics was “Soror Talk with
Datie: An Intergenerational Focus”. Soror Datie Priest discussed how soft

skills can improve relationships and how you are perceived. Generational
preferences for communication, work style, attitude, motivation and needs
were explained. Lastly, attendees were polled for their natural leadership
style - social, analytical, structural and conceptual.
