Biography

Prelude Participants:

Miss Hanna Paige Stanley is the daughter of Thornton and Dawn Stanley. She is an A honor
roll sophomore attending New Century Technology High School on the biomedical track and Lee
High School Dance Magnet Program. An award winning dancer, Hannah auditioned, was selected
and participated in the Alvin Ailey five week Dance Intensive Program in New York City. Hannah is a
member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Delta GEMS, the Lee High Cheerleading Team and serves
as a Magnet School Ambassador.

Ms. Amira Hyder is the daughter of Charles and Debbie Hyder. She is currently an Aerospace
Associate Program Manager and previously worked as a Nuclear Engineer. Her love of drawing
started at the young age of 10 and she presently exhibits her talent as an illustrator for children’s
books, and for private events and businesses.

Mr. Joshua Boyd is the son of Robert and Gloria Boyd. He is an 11 grader at Bob Jones High
School in Madison, AL. He is a member of the band programs at Bob Jones where he plays
Marimba, is the section leader of the indoor Drumline and the front ensemble of the Bob Jones
Marching Band. He is one of the top percussionist in the wind ensemble which is the top concert
band at Bob Jones High School. Josh has been playing the Cello for 10 years and played in the
Huntsville Youth Orchestra for five years. He has also played in two Lyceum Orchestras in the local
area and enjoys playing at various churches and weddings. Josh is a member of Jack and Jill, Inc.
where he serves as teen president.

Miss TaMea Edwards is the daughter of Antonio and Shari White. She is a 7 grader and an

artist. She has been painting since 3 grade. Her inspiration for painting began after realizing that
there were very few black female artists. Her inspiration is Bob Ross, a famous artist. She aspires
to become a Veterinarian.

Ms. Elise Walker is the daughter of Cory and Pearl Walker. She is a 12 grader, a seamstress and
fashion designer. She plans on attending UAH in the fall and double major in business and theater.
Her dream is to design for film and theater. She is presently creating her website entitled “Sell
Creations.” She is a wrestler and her most notable accomplishment has been winner of the Up and
Coming Design Category at the 2021 Alabama Fashion Alliance Competition.

Ms. Jordyn Massey is the daughter of Caleb Massey and Ariel Wilkins. She is a 4 grader and a
dancer who has been performing since she was three years old. She aspires to be a dance teacher
and a performer.
