ANNUAL SCREENINGS IN 2022/23 EYE screening
Annual "Eye screening" for EYFS and Primary pupils was held on Thursday the 13th of October (World Sight Day).
3% of pupils were recommended a further detailed eye check with the specialist. Screening also detected few cases of convergence.
SPEECH and LANGUAGE screening
Park Lane is hosting a speech and language screening for Czech speaking pupils on a regular basis (2 times a year).
Depending on the result of this screening, parents are given the opportunity to sign up their children to the regular sessions that run at the Norbertov campus throughout the school year.
PHYSIO screening
During the physio screening a physiotherapist visually assesses body posture, tests for shortened muscle groups and performs several functional tests to assess basic coordination.
DENTAL HYGIENE project
Children's Smile is a project of a preventive dental care for children that consists of 6 lessons that are run by a professional dental hygienist.
This project emphasizes the importance of a repeated practical training of effective teeth cleaning as this is the proven way to prevent tooth decay and periodontitis.
