Primary School Choir
Congratulations to our primary school choir for their wonderful performance at the weekend. The choir performed last Saturday 26th November, at the beautiful Mozart Hotel which is located just by the Charles Bridge. The children entertained the crowds with a range of songs and very well done to Sophia Z, Y5D for her solo performance. Thank you to Miss Rosie and Miss Esther for all their hardwork in preparing the choir for the event.
Park Lane students won the Basketball tournament
Fantastic job Y6! Such a great tournament and such a well deserved victory! At the end of November Y6 students took part in the Basketball tournament among Inter- national schools organised by Riverside International Schooland they were were brilliant! They left everything on the court; they had been amazing in marking the players and always in space helping each other! After the first match that fin- ished 0:0 Christina opened the score and we won against PBIS and eventually Y6 team made it to the final with the highest score! Unfortunatelly one of our best play- ers Joshua was injured during the game. But he supported the team from the sideas we played against Riverside in the Final. Riverside decided to give out two first places but still we had more points from the matches before. I was so proud of our team! Their attitude and team spirit was brilliant! Very Well done Y6 team!

Things certainly went bump in the night!
November 1st saw the Learning Centre invaded by monsters, ghouls and lots of witches as they celebrated Halloween. The festivities were led by four students from Y11; San SH, Bara H, Misha T and Nelas
P. As well as the traditional scary story (with sound effects) there was a lot of dancing, competitions and hot chocolate with marshmallows. The highlight of the evening was the Costume judging with
the Year 6 students walking down the catwalk. The four year 11 students each chose their favourite costume. Sam SH chose Sam, Misha chose Juniper, Nel chose Sofia while Bara chose Isabella. Miss Esther and Miss Kamille chose the overall winner, who was Lena. Earlier in the day the bookmark competition was judged. Honourable mentions (and chocolate) went to Oliver and Ellin. The winners were Julie and Lena from 6E.
