Primary September 2021 Welcome message 03
Welcome message
Dear EYFS and Primary Parents, Carers, Pupils and Colleagues
I am writing my welcome message for the Park Lane Press with happy, sad and mixed feelings as the holidays are soon to draw to a close and the academic year 2021–2022 will soon open.
“All good things must come to an end” Geoffrey Chaucer – proverb
I very much look forward to seeing all the children in school but more importantly excited to hear all the stories of your news and happy holiday times. Happiness is never fleeting and will not simply end when our holidays end. Happiness will exist and be rejuvenated on Wednesday 1 September 2021 when the school opens for the new academic year.
This September edition of The Park Lane Press not only gives you highlights from the past Summer Term but also gives a very warm welcome back to the whole school community at the start of a new school year.
Welcome Picnic was a time to meet and greet new families in our school community
Eight months ahead of teaching and learning for the children to enjoy
Lessons started on Wednesday 1 September 2021 – a happy day for us all
Clubs and Extra Curricular Activities all started on Monday 13 September 2021
Opening our front doors at Norbertov, Nessie, Valdstejnska and Sibeliova made me very happy Meet and Greet days on Tuesday 31 August 2021 gave new boys and girls a head start to school Early wake up and alarm clocks to get to school registration on time – remember to set
Big thanks to all the Summer Holiday Activity Programme ’21 staff for working so hard
All good things do have to come to an end but the opening of a new school year is great Classrooms are looking great and set up for the children to learn and enjoy
Kit lists – pencil cases, indoor shoes, water bottles, PE kit and school bags – are they all ready?
Kind regards,
Mr Joe Eyles
