Azyzah Theatre
The Azyzah Theatre company visited Nessie and performed for all of the EYFS children. A whoop concert, Mr Suits and Kiki took the children on an adventure across the globe meeting lots of friends along the way with singing and dancing. The morning was funfilled with lots of laughter, singing and dancing.
Mrs Dawn
Prague Castle
Year 5 pupils visited Prague Castle and enjoyed a guided tour. They had the opportunity to visit amazing spaces con- nected with Czech history, the children were most enthusiastic about the royal tomb, where ordinary visitors cannot
get to. The pupils were fantastic and the guide was pleasantly surprised when the pupils actively supplemented her explana- tion of Czech history and asked her a lot of questions. We were really proud of them! Mr Honza and Mrs Hana
Chess Competition
On the 20th of January we went to the chess tournament and we competed against 6 other schools from Prague in the Věra Čáslavská cup. Park Lane’s repre- sentatives were Bruno 5D, Tobias 5M and Antonín 2R. We all played 7 games each which took about 2 hours. I had a lot of fun and I hope to come back again next year. Mr Matěj
 Basketball
at Riverside International School
On Monday 13th February we met the Basketball teams from the International schools in Prague again. All the teams became stronger and tougher and the atmosphere was brilliant. Our Y6 pupils improved hugely and the last game was a pleasure to watch! They all understood that a pass is faster than to move with
a ball and the match was one of the best
I have seen here at Park Lane. Our team improved in shooting and nearly every- body scored. A few baskets were for 3 points! Excellent job and well done every- body! 3rd place is a great result!
