Termy Updates
Year 13
Most applications for university have
been submitted by Y13. More than 200 applications were made from the year group with around 15% of offers received so far. Netherlands regular application, Czech English courses at university and some universities across Germany, Italy and Spain are still open to apply. Good luck to all year 13 awaiting offers.
Year 12
Have now all created their Bridge-U accounts to assist in their university research. Students have been continuing with the weekly lecture series. So far, we have covered, UK, USA, Medicine
and Bio-med Sciences, Netherlands, Oxbridge, Ireland, Canada, Australia. Still to come: CZ and EU countries, funding and financing university, personal statements and essays, CVs and letters, then finally transitioning / leaving home. Those students who have a Y13, term 1 application, should now have a regular meeting set up to prepare in advance.
Year 11
78% of students have now logged into Unifrog and created their accounts. They are currently working on designing their curriculum vitae ahead of their work experience in June. We are requesting support still from the Park Lane community in hosting Y11 student(s) in their work experience placement.
Year 10
100% of Y10 students are now logged
into Unifrog and are working on building their profiles with access to thousands of resources related to careers and university courses after their trip to Úvoz earlier in the term.
