As you enter the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical

University, there is an evident spirit of diversity in the voices
of the students, the languages spoken, and in how students
     transport themselves. Some travel by motorized skateboard;
others use regular skateboards, bikes, or simply walk. You
can feel the diverse atmosphere. Is it possible that the
University could do more in enhancing its diversity of

students and staff? Yes, but in being such a specialized
university, sometimes, diversity can be a challenge. Here is
     what I do understand:

Every student and staff member at this University want
the absolute best for themselves and the future of the Director
          University. Office of Diversity,
                                                                                       Equity and Inclusion

The Universe is vast and wide -- a degree from Embry-Riddle offers graduates the
foundation for a bright future and possible generational wealth for their families.

When you are in the emergency room and you need blood, or you must have a major
operation, all the organs contained in our bodies look alike--and when, if a necessary

transplant must be made, I am sure that the person needing the transplant does not
care where the match comes from to survive.

We should all recognize our biases and work on making them breakthroughs.

I want to thank the faculty and staff who took the time to be a part of a "Kaleidoscope of
Diversity." We look to continue to grow in our knowledge of who we are and each other.
