through. Is 8:00 AM too early for a drink? I stare at the ceiling. Hell, no; that is
what mimosas are for.
I know my mom would prefer for me to walk into breakfast looking flawless,
but I’m not in the mood for that shit. I throw on some sweats and an oversized
shirt. It makes me look bigger than I am, but then again, no fucks given.
I take the long leisurely route to the dining room. I can hear their jokes and
laughter, and I fight against the urge to return to bed. I see them before they see
me. It is only the wedding party; most of the other relatives and guests aren’t
expected until tomorrow. I see Teo first since he is the tallest out of the group. He
is only five-seven, so that isn’t saying much. His shoulder length, black hair is in a
bun on the top of his head.
Why did I think that was sexy? Teo’s thin body and thinner limbs make him
look like a grasshopper or cricket. Our eyes meet, and his smile transforms from

Lizzie was my college roommate, and she was around when the whole Teo saga
started.
She was an aspiring swimsuit model in college, but she didn’t get booked much
because she is five-six. She appears to still be fit if the itty-bitty sundress is any
indication. She laces her fingers with Teo’s and gives me a look at says, “Back off
bitch.”
“Sanya,” is all she manages. What-the-fuck-ever. I’ve only been here five
minutes, and I am already bored with this scene. I sit next to Carla and order a
mimosa. I am right. I am going to need a lot of drinks to get through this weekend.
I hope I don’t turn into an alcoholic before Henry shows up.
“Lizzie is my new girlfriend. She knows how to stay in shape.” Teo purposely
puts extra emphasis on girlfriend. He would stop talking if he realizes how little I
