        was scared stiff and crying. The police asked me to take them where the man had taken me, and I did. Even the old man on the porch
        remembered seeing me and realized the whole scene looked odd, but he said nothing to help or rescue me. I described the man, and

        the old man agreed. I don’t know whether he was ever caught because I never heard anything else about it. That scene remained etched

        in my mind, although my parents never mentioned it again. Well, enough of that! It was a “But God” experience! I thank God for
        watching over me and saving my life! As God says:

                                                           I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
                                                                   Hebrews 13:5 (ESV)

               God had other plans for me, as I will unveil later in this book.

                                          When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee and through

                                                 the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest
                                                         through the fire, thou shalt not be burned;

                                                         neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

                                                                     Isaiah 43:2 (KJV)
