III. OUTCOMES
• Describe briefly that all personnel holding librarian
positions are qualified
Library personnel holding library positions are
qualified since they are graduates of Bachelor’s Degree in
Library and Information Science and Bachelor of Science in
Education/Arts, major in Library Science. Their qualifications
include a Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science
(MLIS)/Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS). They are
also passers of the Librarians Licensure Examination (LLE) and
Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Aside from their
educational qualifications, they also attend relevant
training/seminars in order for them to enhance their
personal and professional skills which are very crucial in the
delivery of quality library services.
II. BEST PRACTICES
• Librarians are encouraged to attend at least one seminar
every year to update themselves on issues related to
library and information science.
• Librarians are very much available during noon break to
assist and provide library services.
• Librarians are competent which is evident in their
educational qualifications as shown in the librarians’
profile.
• Librarians are approachable, flexible and accommodating.
