Interaction of the machine tool industry with

exhibition companies was discussed at the

international round table

Today an international round table "Prospects for the development of the machine tool
industry: new opportunities in the interaction of exhibition companies and industry associations
and unions" was held, organized by Expocentre AO with the support of the Ministry of Industry
and Trade of the Russian Federation.
As the moderator of the round table, First Deputy General Director of Expocentre Sergey
Selivanov noted, the event is timed to coincide with the upcoming largest international exhibition
in Russia in the field of machine tool building Metalloobrabotka 2021, which will be held at the
Expocentre Fairgrounds from May 24 to 28. At the round table, he proposed to discuss topics
relevant to the machine-building industry, such as facilitating the implementation in Russia of
projects aimed at localizing production, supporting technology transfer, using digital promotion
tools in machine-tool industry, formats for holding exhibitions in new conditions - online and
hybrid exhibitions.
