Deadline for Nominations
The nominations for the Professor K. Chockalingam Award and the Fellowship Award
should be emailed to the General Secretary at indiansocietyofvictimology@gmail.com on or
before 20th September 2022.
(C) ISV Best Research Paper Award
1. This award will be presented to a researcher below the age of 30 for his/her original
research in the field of Victimology.
2. The research paper should be the outcome of an original empirical research on a
subject of recent relevance in victimology and victim assistance.
3. A participant can only send one paper for consideration. For practical reasons, papers
with joint authorship will not be permitted.
4. Papers should be in Times New Roman font, 12 point with double line spacing, leaving
margin space on all sides. Name of the author should be provided on a separate page.
5. The author of the paper should submit a bonafide certificate from the institution where
he/she is studying. The working author should also submit a Declaration that the
research is an original piece of work done by him/her and does not form a part of a
thesis/dissertation for the award of any degree/diploma or anyother award or prize.
6. An Expert Committee will review and shortlist papers. The shortlisted contestants will
have to present their paper during the ISV Best Research Paper Award Session before
the Expert Committee, following which the winner will be decided and presented with
the award.
7. The contestants of the ISV Best Research Paper Award should email their papers to the
General Secretary at indiansocietyofvictimology@gmail.com on or before 20th
September 2022.
