Each spring, the Van Buren Chamber Education & Workforce Committee honors graduating
seniors who have earned the prestigious A S distinction. Based on academic
performance, school attendance, and completed coursework, the Arkansas Scholars program
is recognized by institutions and employers throughout the state. Scholars and their families
are invited to the awards ceremony, where honorees are presented their certificates.
The evening also includes a keynote speaker.

Career Connection will take place before and after the
ceremony featuring display tables for employers and
universities to share career opportunities with the
graduating seniors and their parents.

Career Connection: 4:30—6 pm, 7pm – 8pm
