ADVANCE
DIRECTIVES
Advance directives are documents which give someone else
the ability to make decisions for you if you are alive but
unable to make decisions for yourself. Many people don't
realize that their spouse or adult children don't
automatically have this right. These documents are for
everyone from age 18 to age 108! Examples of these are:
Durable Power of Attorney - for legal and financial
decisions
Designation of Healthcare Surrogate - for medical
decisions
Living Will - to let your loved ones know if you want to
be kept on life support
And more!
