WILLS & TRUSTS
There are a number of ways you can leave your things to
your loved ones when you pass away. Most common are
Last Will & Testaments (commonly called "Wills") and
Living Trusts. These are documents that direct to whom
your assets will be given. However, having a Will is not
sufficient to avoid "probate", a court process that can
be very time-consuming and expensive. Trusts have the
benefit of helping to avoid probate, but can be more
expensive to set up, and require an extra step while
you're alive, referred to as "funding".
Fortunately, we've developed a third option: "No
Probate" plans that help avoid probate but cost
significantly less than setting up a trust! Read on to find
out more.
