Page 54 - Labyrinth--Suburban Stardust
P. 54

There is an apparent divergence between me and you.
You are the recipient of a sublime education, employment too. And strive to make your aspirations a reality. That’s not what I do.
I live a life that is solely perceived as flawed.
I wait day by day, hoping for only but an act of God.
Your life revolves around success, and mine around maraud.
Our world, a place of new beginnings, but also of many imperfections. A series of endless connections,
Yet we all somehow stand alone. Some of us standing tall,
some seeking protection.
You understand the ink upon a series of pages.
I gaze upon it with incertitude.
You are capable of feeding the mouths that are dependant on you.
I am fortunate to provide for my own.
You cease to ruminate on behalf of the way I go about
my life.
I envision a lifetime of higher quality, living the way
that you do.
That is the apparent divergence between me and you.
