SHARING SPACE
In this “AC” era, the idea of ‘sharing space’ has a two- fold significance. First, we must evaluate the impact of being together in environments where the virus ex- isted or potentially could be active. We have an obligation to ourselves and others to follow strict hygienic guidelines and rules of behavior so that we do not contract the vi- rus or transmit it to others (actively or asymptomatically). Secondly, the notion of ‘sharing space’ means understand- ing and respecting the personal right of every individual to self-actualize, without interference from others (including negative or sarcastic comments or feelings of envy or mis- giving). As mentioned, our celebration of life and renewed togetherness must be practiced as a whole, in which every- one benefits. In our BC era, we constantly were influenced by the media, friends, TV and movies, and we were en- couraged to practice all the wrong behaviors. Some people believed that sarcasm was funny and that stepping over someone else for personal gain was acceptable. To these individuals, indiscretion and indecency was fine, as long as it served their objectives. Conversations about morality and God were taboo.
In our present “AC” world, people who once entertained the above thoughts and behaviors will gain new perspec- tives on life and living. God allowed the pandemic to take
