How the Hospitality (Hotel) Industry Is Tackling COVID-19
Best Practices When Interacting with Staff and Guests
Hotels have been among the most affected business- es in the COVID-19 era. Hotel owners and opera- tors must ensure that they provide the highest lev- el of cleanliness in the lobby, rooms, and common areas. They must educate their staff on the benefits of wearing masks, social-distancing, and going the extra mile to make sure that their staff and guests remain virus-free. In turn, guests must do their part by adhering to CDC guidelines and understanding the risks of departing from strict hy- gienic practices. Nothing is easy, but with God, all things are possible, and as the saying goes, “teamwork makes the dream work.”
Those in hotel industry have had to face many changes and adjustments in the new “AC” environment, making their guests’ and staff’s safety the number one priority. Staff must adapt to the demands of COVID-19 with grace, intelligence, and a spirit of mutual accord.
