which I further polished. He would teach me 2% of digital
marketing and I would add 50%. This continued until the
second year of my O-Levels started and it was the most
productive summer vacation. I had learned Adobe Photoshop,
Facebook marketing and little something about Upwork. It
was during December 2015 that Ivoke called me and offered a
paid internship for Rs. 15,000 as a Digital Marketing Executive
since my performance had been better than the digital
marketing executive they currently had. So, you could say I
was about to replace him. This news was spread out in my
school, SICAS, but by who? Well, the call came while I was
sitting in my “second mom’s” office, our O-Levels coordinator,
Miss Nazia. That’s how each and every teacher knew about my
paid internship and finally most of the kids at school. The
funny part is that she even called my mom and congratulated
her. My dignity that was once shattered had been fixed back
into its shape. The kids at school saw me differently, as if my
life mattered. Now this reminds me of some rare gems I came
