my life, it was like a game of cards (Poker) but how? Alright

               time for another lecture.

Alright students, the objective of today’s lecture is to

understand the game of cards called Poker and relate it to my

life. In Poker, each player is given two cards. The game

consists of three stages: first stage is called “the flop” where

three series of cards are dealt face up, the second stage is

called “fourth street” where one card is dealt face up and

finally the last stage is called “the river” where the last card is

dealt face up. Once the river is dealt, any player with the best

combination of five cards from the seven cards including their

own two cards, wins. In my case, my opponent was my

O-Levels who was a sturdy pro while I was a frail noob. Right

call it since at that moment leaving the game wasn’t an

option because this game was the only hope for me to win

big and get my foot on the positive path in my life. So when
