time for another lecture.
Alright students, the objective of today’s lecture is to
understand the game of cards called Poker and relate it to my
life. In Poker, each player is given two cards. The game
consists of three stages: first stage is called “the flop” where
three series of cards are dealt face up, the second stage is
called “fourth street” where one card is dealt face up and
finally the last stage is called “the river” where the last card is
dealt face up. Once the river is dealt, any player with the best
combination of five cards from the seven cards including their
own two cards, wins. In my case, my opponent was my
O-Levels who was a sturdy pro while I was a frail noob. Right
after the flop was dealt, the bet was to go “all in” and I had to
call it since at that moment leaving the game wasn’t an
option because this game was the only hope for me to win
big and get my foot on the positive path in my life. So when
