Career and Motherhood

"Motherhood and career goes hand in hand,
If you believe to take up your stand. "

The strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws. When you are a mother you are never really alone in your thoughts .
Motherhood brings great joy in one's life .But can one balance career and motherhood together ? Yes, along with motherhood
career adds to the completeness of being a woman. The Indian society often feels that a working mother cannot nurture her
children well, cannot give justice to her children, neglects the child in order to earn money and above all she can never be a
good mother. On the contrary it is just a myth and not the reality. Working mothers are indeed dynamic multitaskers and great
manager . When it comes to my personal life. I believe I have given justice to my profession as a teacher and to my son as a
mother. Being a mother made me a better teacher and vice-versa. I could see my son in every student and have developed a
motherly attitude towards them.
Working mothers can also be a motivational factor to their children. The struggle of the mother is seen by their children and it
mentally makes them strong. Career and motherhood can be balanced if handled with care. It is just how you adjust your
professional and personal life. When the child is small the mother has to go through a number of problems especially the
sleepless nights. Even in times of stress, as she is fighting her own demons ,she is beyond exhausted both mentally and
physically nothing stops a mother from finding the strength she needs to get do for her children.
Motherhood is a choice you make everyday,
To put someone else's happiness and well being ahead of your own,
To teach the hard lessons,
And to forgive yourself over and over again for doing something wrong.

Overall , I have learned that every working mother is a “SUPERWOMAN".
