Spiced Monkfish Fillet
Preparation Task: Prep the Monkfish Fillet
Serving time approx. 10 minutes
The steak needs to be taken out of the fridge 2 hours before cooking.
Ingredients required: Equipment required:
• Monkfish fillet • Plate large enough for the
Monkfish
• The Host’s Pantry Gara
Masala Spice Mix
Pantry Ingredients required:
• Salt and pepper
1. Place Monkfish fillet on a chopping board, and pat dry with
kitchen roll.
2. Mix together the 40g garam masala and 1 teaspoon of salt.
Then sprinkle this over the fish and then using your fingers
pat/rub the mix into the fish.
3. Set aside until cooking.
