CPS Go Live!
Welcome to the Augusta, Canton, Cordele, Elberton, Evans, Rincon, Rock
Springs, Thomasville, Tifton and Valdosta CSCs! The total is now 22 CSCs
and 166 workstations (31%) converted to CPS on the Gemalto system. The
Command Center remains assisting our newly converted CSCs with their first
days operating on the new system.
The Pilot Period is when a new system is tested and any areas are identified
that may need to be adjusted to ensure success of the overall project. To
that end, we are going to pause in bringing on additional fulltime CSCs for a
few days to confirm that all the permanent DL/ID cards are properly flowing
through the production process and reaching our customers. A team is being
assembled in the Command Center to audit the outstanding permanent
cards waiting to be mailed. Once that is completed, we will formally conclude
Pilot and resume installing the fulltime centers. Please continue the
excitement and keep up the momentum for this new process!
