Way 2 Go Judy! Thanks for 35 years of Service!
Commissioner Moore visited the
Thomson CSC recently to present a
Faithful Service Award to Judy Everage
who will soon retire with 35 years of
service! She began her state career in
August 16, 1982 with GA Dept. of Youth
as a radio operator. She joined the
Department of Public Safety (DPS) in
1983 as a radio operator and
transitioned to a driver examiner with
DPS in 1987. She remained at the
Thomson CSC for the remainder of her
career advancing to a Team Lead.
Center Manager Joey Scott commented
“I have worked with Judy for 19 years.
She is a hard worker that takes pride in
the job she does for this office and the
Department. Judy was selected to
represent District 6 in the Driver
Examiner of the Year in 2015. She has
been my Team Lead for 12 years and is
always willing to step up and take
charge in my absence. Because of her
years of service, it has made her an
asset at training new team
members. Judy is very dependable and
trustworthy and has rarely missed a
day of work since I’ve worked with her.
She is not only a trusted Team
Member, but I consider her a good
friend as well.”
