IDEC Award Luncheon

IDEC Winner

Keyiera Ezell 2018 IDEC Award Recipient

Annually the International Driver Certification (IDEC) and the American
Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) recognizes outstanding
examiners through the IDEC Examiner of the Year Award. Each member
jurisdiction nominates one examiner for outstanding performance as a driver
examiner. Examiners are selected for their excellence in adhering to the
principles and recommended practices of driver examining (the Examiner’s
Code of Ethics) and for their high level of conduct in their profession.
Each year the DDS District Managers work with center managers to identify
the top customer service representatives at each location. The examiners
that are nominated have exemplary customer service skills, a superior work
ethic and also are involved in the community. Each District nominates one
driver examiner to be reviewed by the Executive Management Team. This
panel selects one driver examiner to be the DDS Driver Examiner of the Year.
This year’s winner is Keyiera Ezell from the Perry CSC. She was nominated by
her manager Jerry Williams and District Manager Larry Fincher. Keyiera was
also a participant in the annual Fastest Typist Contest and has recently been
promoted to Assistant Manager of the Warner Robins CSC. Congratulations
to all the nominees!
