                 FROM THE COMMISSIONER

                 Dear Friends,

Welcome to the Fiscal 2020 (FY20) Annual Report for the Department
of Driver Services (DDS) covering July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
When I selected #DDSLetsTransform2020 for our annual theme, I
had no idea to what extent our Agency would be asked to transform
during this year unlike any other.

As we continued on the path to transform our processes with DRIVES
(Driver Record and Integrated Vehicle Enterprise System), the
country fell victim to Coronavirus (COVID-19). While this Pandemic
is one for the history books, so is DDS’ response. After closing face to
face operations for less than 10 days, we opened to the public with a
plan to keep customers and Team Members safe. “I remain confident
                                                                                 in the DDS Team
By August 25th, we had served over 1.2 million customers. 761,868 and the strategies
customers received face to face service by visiting one of our 67 that we continue
Customer Service Centers (CSC), and DDS processed 585,085 online to develop and
                 transactions since the emergency declaration.
                                                                                 refine to meet
                                                                                 these challenges
The COVID-19 Pandemic is not over, and DDS will continue to face
it and the lasting economic challenges head on. I remain confident and any others
in the DDS Team and the strategies that we continue to develop and that may present
refine to meet these challenges and any others that may present themselves.”
                 themselves.

I am grateful for the assistance and encouragement from Governor
Brian Kemp and members of the Georgia General Assembly.

Without the DDS Board of Directors valuable guidance and support
our successes would not have been possible.

Thank you to the DDS team members, our customers and business
partners for an outstanding year despite the Pandemic. I look forward
to bringing you news next year of many more notable achievements.

                 Sincerely,

                 Spencer R. Moore
                 Commissioner
