Where did you work prior to DDS?
Prior to DDS, most of my experience was in the motor vehicle administration arena. I was
employed for almost five years at the Georgia Department of Revenue, with my last role being
the Director of Motor Vehicles. Prior to that, I worked for the DeKalb County Tax
Commissioner’s Office for 15 years, with the last 10 years as the Motor Vehicle Director.

What brought you to DDS?
The opportunity to try something new while being able to solve difficult problems and mold a
successful team. At the urging of Commissioner Moore, I took on this challenge.

What is the biggest challenge for the CDL Community today?
From everything that I have heard and read, it is the lack of CDL drivers. There is tremendous
demand for CDL drivers nationally.
