Cost Estimate Methodology
This concept-level estimate establishes a a a prob- able construction cost for all 18 components illustrated in this Punch List • Quantities are based on direct field obser- vations
• Repair areas of each brick sidewalk and crosswalk are based on on visual inspections of each idividual deficient section
• Square footage of each area has been over- sized (x2) to assure that enough repair area has been quantified
• The individual components are further es- calated with a a a a 50% estimating contingency at at the the bottom of the the estimate • Based on the quantities unit prices and factors of safety used Davis Square can be significantly improved for under $750 000
