What an amazing experience I recently had, given the opportunity
to sit in on a
recording session with South Florida’s very own R&B music
producer Ja.Eri. Have you every met someone who doesn’t just understand their field of study, but lives and breathes it? When Ja.Eri gets in the music zone, you physically see him there. It’s like he is no longer a human when he is making music. HE IS THE MUSIC. I have officially given him the title of “the man made of sound” because his heart and soul truly goes into every single sound and beat you hear. No wonder R&B became his genre of choice. With every beat he makes, he pushes the artist he works with to dive deep and really pull out their vulnerability for the world to hear. Ja.Eri also finds ways to bridge the gap into other music genres. His R&B beats are most definitely ahead of the time. In the pages to come, I was able to interview this man and really understand how Ja.Eri became “the man made of sound”. Enjoy!
