Dear forever family,
Have you ever heard someone say, “Who knew?” Well I think it could be rightly said of how this Easter will be a second one significantly affected by the Covid Pandemic. However, whilst our gathering is affected, and our ability to sing and play much loved hymns may be affected, the eternal truth of Easter remains exactly that, eternal!
This is good news! The celebration of Easter morning is the truth of the risen Christ – the grave could not hold Him; death could not hold Him. He is alive!!
I am challenged to think about what that means for me. And I challenge you to consider the same thing.
Does the risen Christ encourage you to be bold with your love, with your generosity?
Does the risen Christ encourage you in your faith, and strengthen your resolve to be more like Him?
Does the risen Christ give you hope, and spur you on in your living?
Will you celebrate the risen Christ just as much this Easter as any other, because His life means so much to you?
If things work out the way we hope, next Easter will be a real opportunity to gather and celebrate together. But this Easter, take the time, use the resources that are in your Easter pack, or find others that help you more.
