Make the time and space to sing your favourite Easter hymn at full volume ( I can recommend walking alongside a tractor by the River Trent for being able to sing loud and not be heard!!). Write and post Easter cards. Decorate an Easter cake. Put beautiful flowers on your windowsill, or an Easter wreath on your front door. Have hot cross buns and sing The Old Rugged Cross before you eat them.
But whatever you do, make the time to celebrate this Easter. Christ is alive!! He is risen from the dead, and He is Lord!
A verse from my favourite Easter hymn:
Lo! Jesus meets thee, risen from the tomb;
Lovingly He greets thee, scatters fear and gloom; Let His church with gladness hymns of triumph sing, For her Lord now liveth; death has lost its sting!
