After the matches, club member Cllr Abdul Khan - Local Member on Conwy County
Borough Council for Colwyn Bay’s Glyn Ward, presented the winners with medals and trophies. Cllr Khan said: “It gives me great pleasure to see everyone enjoying a wonderful morning of tennis to celebrate the anniversary. Well done to everyone who took part in the celebrations. We look forward to the future of the centre, welcoming all to come and play a racquet sport.”
The Tennis Centre facilities are open to the general public, with ‘Pay & Play’ sessions of tennis or badminton bookable throughout the week. For further information visit: ffitconwy.co.uk

The Conwy Talented Athlete Scheme provides assistance to talented sports people competing at a National level in their sport. The scheme offers discounted access to Conwy’s leisure facilities for training purposes. To be eligible you must be a resident of Conwy and a current member of a National Squad of a Welsh Sport’s Governing Body.
