lar head on them that will snap off when torqued in place, so don’t tightened them until everything is in place and you are happy. If you want, you can use allen bolts of the same thread size to line ev- erything up until you install the security bolts.
When you install the 986 clockspring you will need to make a couple of con- nections. One, the brown wire with a white strip will go to the brown wire with white stripe that you unplugged from the
964 clockspring. You will likely need to make a crimp connection for this wire as the connectors do not match up from the old to new clockspring. Next there will be an extra brown wire off the new clockspring. This you will simple attach to ground under the dash wherever you choose.
