After a restless night of anticipation and little sleep, I found myself taking off from KCI Airport early on a cold December, Saturday morning. We landed around 10:00 AM in Phoenix, and made our way to the Bank of America to finalize the deal. While waiting in the lobby, I caught a glimpse of the new car flash by the window. Seeing that bright Racing Yellow exterior in the flesh and taking in the whole car at once was a flood of emotions. Excitement, relief, anticipation, and joy all battle for their place in my mind.
